​The corrugated structure of the Bellows is determined by the client according to the specific needs of the project. The following are two common corrugation shapes and their associated characteristics.
Arc-shaped Corrugation

- Fatigue Resistance
- Suitable for low hardness materials
​Disadvantages
- More prone to collapse and deform at maximum stretch
- Approx 30% higher material cost compared to high hardness material applications.
Typical Applications
- Japanese cars
​Flat-shaped Corrugation
Special Advantages
- Pull Resistance, will not collapse at max stretch
- Easily adjustable dimensions and specs.
- Suitable for high hardness materials
- Light weight
Disadvantages
- Less durability than Arc
- Less Tensile/Compressive force than Arc
